What's included in the price?

Your class fee covers more than just tuition. With every package you get:

  • Hands-on teaching in a small class — never more than five students, so you get real, personal guidance.
  • Use of a sewing machine at the studio, so you do not need to own one to start.
  • Class materials such as pattern papers, threads and zippers, which are provided during the session.
  • Your finished projects to take home — bags, pouches, garments and more.

The main thing not included is your personal sewing kit (scissors, pins, measuring tape and the like). You can bring your own or buy our ready-made Sewing Kit Set for RM165. For the RM195 Introduction class, even the kit is provided.

Which class fits your budget?

Here is a quick way to think about it:

  • Just want to try it? (around RM195) — The Introduction class is a low-commitment taster. It is the most popular starting point, and a lovely gift idea too.
  • Building a hobby? (around RM595–RM795) — Our beginner packages give you several sessions and multiple projects, so the per-session cost works out lower and your skills really stick.
  • Want to make your own clothes? (around RM695–RM995) — Beginner and intermediate dressmaking packages take you from your first skirt or palazzo pants to two finished garments.
  • Mastering the craft? (RM895 and up) — Advanced and expert packages cover statement pieces and traditional garments like baju kurung, baju kebaya and cheongsam.

Are sewing classes worth the money?

Beyond the skill itself, students tell us their weekly class is some of the most relaxing, screen-free time they have — a genuine reset. You walk away with something handmade, a new ability you keep for life, and often a calmer mind. If you are weighing it up as a first-timer, our guide for adult beginners explains what your first few classes actually feel like.
